- A charnell and chapell of St. Edmund the Bishop and Marie Magdalen near St. Mary Spital, founded by William Enesham, Citizen and Pepperer, 1391 (S. 168).The chapell upon the charnell at Seint Mary Spitall, wythout Bisshops Gate is mentioned by Arnold in his Chronicle, p. 255, in his list of the Parish Churches, etc., of London, c. 1500-21.Probably removed at the dissolution of the monasteries, temp. H. VIII.
