- South out of Aldgate High Street at No. 60. In Portsoken Ward (P.O. Directory).Earliest mention: O. and M. 1677.At that time and for some years later it contained two large courts and a long alley leading into Goodman's Fields. In Rocque's map, 1746, these courts are called "My Lady's Yard," and "Cart Yard," but in the other maps they seem to form part of Harrow Alley.Altered and rebuilt in the 18th century, and again in the 19th for the formation of Somerset Street.
